"We are about 75% leased now," Prospective's Joseph Ritchey tells Globest.com "The three initial deals in that building were all law firms: Wilson, Sonsini, Goodrich & Rosati, Finnegan Henderson Farabow Garrett & Dunner, and Latham & Watkins. Now Wilson Sonsini has space that it is subleasing. So the leasing in the building has been very substantial from the initial point, but now there is some subleasing space that is available."
For HPT, the trophy property is the perfect space, especially since the city of Reston was the 10-year-old company's first home. "Our growth and ability to survive the economy's fluctuations is due in large part to our commitment to being 'built to last,' " HPT president and CEO Don Fitzpatrick says in a statement. "Two Freedom Square, an inspiring structure that is also 'built to last,' is the perfect headquarters location for HPTi's next phase of growth."
