Doug Green of Beitler, who represented both Aussie and the seller, Whitfield Associates, tells GlobeSt.com that Aussie Mobile now occupies about half of the office building but will take over all of the space next year after the other Whitfield, moves out.
Green says Whitfield's principals, Gary and Barbara Whitfield, developed the property two years ago on land that he sold them. The Whitfields, known for developing a number of auto malls in Orange County, initially occupied about half of the space and leased the rest to Aussie Mobile. But Aussie, which sells pet grooming franchises, has grown and needs the additional space.
The new Aussie headquarters is a single-story, wood frame and block building at 34189 Pacific Coast Highway.
