Rochelle van Halm, a spokesperson for Creo Inc., tells GlobeSt.com that the Burnaby, British Colombia-based company acquired the leasehold on this facility when it purchased Iris Graphics. She points out the move is part of a consolidation effort in which Creo Americas is moving out of three buildings in Bedford, MA where it occupied an aggregate 115,500. Creo will put the Bedford space, the lease on which has roughly three more years to run, on the sublease market.
The manufacturing end of the company is being relocated near the company's headquarters in Canada. This facility will house the executive, sales and marketing, training, and customer service team, as well as a 7,500-sf demo center.
Van Halm was unsure what the company would be doing with its space in Bedford.
