The Oak Grove Plaza, which delivers in May, is anchored by a 62,825-sf Kroger Signature store with the balance of the 22,500 set aside for inline shops. Owned by Sachse Commons Shopping Center I/II, the center at the intersection of US Highway 78 and Murphy Road in Sachse is designed for two phases, with a 36,000-sf expansion on the drawing boards in a tentative roll-out strategy set to kick off in 18 months.

The center, being developed by Woodmont, signed New York Cleaners, a Garland-based firm, to 2,300 sf; Supercuts, 1,400 sf; and French Nails, 1,100 sf. Collin Lasater of Woodmont is handling the pre-leasing for Oak Grove Center. Erik Fulkerson of Crest Commercial Real Estate of Dallas brokered the terms for Supercuts while the other two tenants negotiated for themselves. A bigger fish, a national movie rental chain, is in talks for a spot, Lasater said in a press release.
