Meredith & Grew, Incorporated/Oncor International vice presidents Robert E. Cronin and John A. Carroll III represented the seller, St. Pierre Development, in the sale.

The new 24,854-sf building will provide additional room for expansion when the organization moves from its current headquarters in downtown Worcester. Construction is slated to begin in the spring of 2003 and be complete by the fall of the same year.

The 87-acre Worcester Corporate Center is located just off Route 290 and is master planned for 750,000 sf of fully-permitted and approved office, research and development, biomedical and manufacturing space. Thirty-six acres remain available at the Center with a build-out capacity of approximately 532,000 sf of permitted space. Among the Center's existing tenants are Mass Materials Research, Inc., Airis Corp., which completed an 88,500 sf "City Station" for Federal Express on a third parcel in the park and UMASS Medical School, which recently purchased an existing three-story office building for administrative purposes.
