The building is at 14350 Myford Road and houses headquarters operations as well as distribution facilities, according to Wade Tift and Scott Read of the Grubb & Ellis Newport Beach office. Tift and Read represented the tenant, while The Irvine Co. represented itself in the transaction.

Based in Irvine, eMachines was founded in 1998 and is one of many growing technology companies that have located in Orange County in recent years. The personal computer company has become one of the leading makers of desktop computers sold through U.S. retailers and had been in the building for four years before signing the lease renewal. The privately held company has recently expanded its distribution network to market its computers in Japan.
