While the multifamily rental market has been showing signs of stress with an up-tick in vacancies, that is not the case for the Edgewood Apartments, located at 3549 E. 173rd Ct., near the Indiana state line. Occupancy is a robust 98% at the 32-year-old property, which includes 20.7 acres.

"The borrower needed an aggressive loan to buy out an existing partner and time constraints allowed us only 60 days to complete the deal," explains Holliday Fenoglio Fowler senior managing director Mike Kavanau in a statement. "The lender was able to deliver full loan proceeds at a superior rate by the deadline.
