Poladian, a 30-year industry veteran who formerly held posts at Arthur Andersen as managing partner for Southern California and for the Pacific Southwest Region, will succeed former Lowe CFO Peter Del Franco, who has retired.
Poladian will oversee accounting and reporting systems for Lowe's offices nationwide, including internal and external financial reporting. He also will direct corporate service activities such as human resources, risk management, information systems and legal services. He serves on numerous boards in the Los Angeles area, including the YMCA of Metropolitan Los Angeles, which he chaired from 1998 to 2001; the Board of Trustees of Loyola Marymount University as current vice chair; the Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce; and the USC School of Policy Planning and Development.
