Synthegen is setting up shop in a 27,352-sf building, built in 1980 on about 1.5 acres near the intersection of Beltway 8 and Harwin Drive. Ramparts Westchase LP has been the owner since 1998. The inbound tenant specializes in the synthesizing, labeling and purifying of modified oligonucleotides.
Pollard Gallipp of the Cypressbrook Co. in the Woodlands represented Synthegen in the lease negotiations. Ed McCool of EEMIII Co. represented the building owner.
Gallipp also structured a 4,275-sf sublease for 25231 Grogan's Mill Rd., a suburban office building tailored for high-tech tenants in the Woodlands. The deal slid Provant Technologies into office space of RLX Technologies. Provant is a software development firm formerly known as Cimarron Systems.
