Pirelli's Carlisle operation is the European centre for the manufacture of tyres for Sports Utility Vehicles and the company will be investing over £12 million ($19 million) in the project.
King Sturge and Osborne Clarke advised Gleeson; Pirelli was advised by sbh.uk which is also project manager for the scheme.
