At CNL she will oversee the performance, contract compliance and overall value of CNL's property portfolio, which has grown from three properties in two states to 58 properties in 21 states.

Yester comes to CNL from EdenCare Senior Living Services, where she was president and chief operating officer of the Alpharetta, GA-based firm which has independent and assisted living communities in seven states.

In her career to date, she has overseen the operations of 155 communities totaling 8,700 residents. Yester co-founded the Annenberg Forum on Senior Healthcare and the California Elder Abuse Campaign. She also founded the Consortium on Aging and Dementia-Related Issues. Yester is a former executive with Horizon CMS Healthcare Co. and Resources for Senior Living.

In another CNL company-related move, CNL Bank is affiliating with Orlando-based J. Rolfe Davis agency to sell insurance to its bank customers. The three-branch CNL Bank plans to open a fourth office this year in suburban Winter Park, FL.

CNL Bank and CNL Retirement Corp. are part of CNL Financial Group Inc., one of Florida's largest real estate owners, managers and developers through its various corporate entities.
