The surfwear and sportswear company will occupy nearly 700,000 sf of office and industrial space at the business park when it completes this latest expansion in November.
Quiksilver relocated its headquarters and distribution operations to the West County Commerce Center in 1997 and has been gradually expanding as additional space becomes available at the one-million-sf industrial park. The West County Commerce Center is at Argosy and McFadden avenues.
The first of the two recent lease agreements was for 101,618 sf of industrial space, with occupancy slated for this month. The second lease also was for 101,618 sf.
Michael Wood of Sares-Regis Group represented the landlord, and Tom Overend of The Overend Co. in Huntington Beach represented Quiksilver.
Sares-Regis Group is one of the largest diversified developers and managers of residential and commercial real estate in the western United States. The company has acquired or developed approximately 34 million sf of commercial properties and 18,000 housing units since its inception. It has more than two million sf under commercial development, as well as more than 11,000 apartment units and 14 million sf of commercial real estate under management.
