Also, several contiguous floors of Bank One's 17-story headquarters building at 611 Woodward in downtown Detroit are now available for lease through CB Richard Ellis Inc.
"As a result of the mergers between NBD, First Chicago and Bank One, we have consolidated many of our operations over time and this building now have available space for other tenants," said David Bennett, VP, Real Estate for Bank One.
The Albert Kahn-designed building was built in 1958. The building offers many amenities, said officials with CB, and is comparable with other Class A office space downtown. Officials at CB said they would like to attract tenants from outside of Detroit.
