While Citadel prepares to occupy its 274,000 sf at the 1.5-million-sf Central Loop building on Adams between State and Dearborn streets in April, Prime Group Realty Trust has whittled its sublease obligation at 1 N. Wacker Dr. down to about 70,000 sf with its deal with the law firm. However, that deal, which is pending lender approval, does not begin until June.
Prime Group Realty Trust, which also is involved in talks that could lead to recapitalization, also says it has sold a 40,000-sf industrial building at 4430 Railroad Ave. in East Chicago, IN, to its tenant, the city of East Chicago.
