The shopping center, which Eastbourne had owned since December 1996, is at the corner of Date Palm Drive and Ramona Boulevard in this community near Palm Springs. The center is anchored by Rite Aid drug store and a Goodwill store. The single-story, concrete block structure, built in 1991, was fully occupied at the time of the sale.
Eastbourne is a privately held real estate company that owns properties in six states, including nearly 700,000 sf of its recently acquired retail space in Kansas City, MO, and a shopping center development comprising more than 450,000 sf in Avondale, AZ. The company also has assembled 118 acres of land in Meridian, ID for development. Eastbourne says it plans to continue"aggressively acquiring" anchored retail properties and development opportunities throughout the US.
