The $3.4-million project, which is being developed by Village Walk Square LLC, was designed by Ware Malcomb, a 31-year-old firm that specializes in planning, architecture and interior design. JD Diffenbaugh Inc. of Riverside, CA is the general contractor. The site is at Kalmia Street and Village Parkway, close to a number of new housing and retail developments in this fast-growing city.

Village Walk Square will include a 35,000-sf, three-story, steel-frame office building, a restaurant pad and branch bank pad on a 3.8-acre site. The office building will serve as the administrative and development corporate offices for Rancon, a diversified Temecula, CA-based real estate company. Rancon is slated to occupy a majority of the first and second floors, with the remaining space to be built on a speculative basis and offered for lease. Construction is anticipated to be complete by September.
