Webb's nominees are:
·Gail Klapper, managing attorney of the Klapper Firm and Director, of the Colorado Forum.
·Odell Barry, President of Barry & Associates, a former Denver Bronco and former Mayor of Northglenn, CO.
·Harry Lewis, retired partner from Dain Bosworth, the predecessor to Dain Rauscher & Co.·Ron Montoya, president of Plasticom Industries.
·Mark Smith, a principal of East West Partners, the developer of the $1 billion Riverfront condo project in the Central Platte Valley.
·Cathy Reynolds, president of the Denver City Council.
·Cheryl Cohen-Vader, Manager of Revenue for the city.
Reynolds and Cohen-Vader will be non-voting members of the board.
Some council members are concerned that some of the people do not live in Denver, while others note that the city no longer even requires city employees to live in Denver.
The city of Denver plans to create a non-profit organization that would float bonds to build and own an 1,100-room Hyatt Regency across from the $268 million expansion of the Colorado Convention Center that is underway.
