Leonard Nadler of Studley's West Los Angeles office tells GlobeSt.com that the home builder has occupied space in the 534,000-sf office building since 1984 and had about 16 months remaining on its former lease. Nadler represented Pardee while the Chicago-based building owner, Equity Office Properties, was represented in-house by David Hitzel. The 10880 Wilshire Blvd. building is a 24-story tower that was built in 1970, renovated extensively in 1994 and is 87% occupied.

Pardee Homes was established in 1921 and is one of the oldest and largest building companies in California. The company, also one of the largest builders in Nevada, maintains regional offices there and throughout Southern California. Besides homes, the company builds apartments, office buildings and industrial projects.
