Verinform Inc. leased the space at 519 SW Third Ave. The two-year-old company develops and supports medical specialty information systems for organizations such as Oregon Health & Science University, Northwest Kaiser-Permanente and the Portland Veterans Administration hospital.
The new facility "will enable us to provide better service to our expanding customer base," says Verinform EVP Edward M. Kolasinski. "Our company accomplished a great deal despite cramped quarters, and it'snow time to provide room for our growing operational needs, particularly as our development, customer support and implementation teams expand," he adds.
Kolasinski says that moving to downtown Portland in the central business core "is a big plus for our business because it makes accessible a vast array of choices across the services we will need."Associate Vice President Brad Christiansen of Colliers International says, "We¹re delighted to have put together a creative office space alternative for Verinform. We represent a unique selection of high-quality facilities that are available on attractive terms. At a time when vacancy rates downtown are higher than we would prefer and when conditions are also challenging for prospective tenants, it's very satisfying to help create a win-win situation like this one."
