The sale, part of a trend that has buildings under 50,000 sf being hot commodities, allows Spring Air Co. to relocate their headquarters from nearby Des Plaines. Meanwhile, the seller, AAR Corp., is relocating to another O'Hare area suburb, Wood Dale.
Equis Corp. VP Bill Strey and SVP Gregg Raus represented the mattress company while Darwin Realty & Development Corp. principal Richard Daly handled negotiations for AAR Corp.
Consumer goods company Collections Inc. has taken 50,000 sf in the 400,000-sf building owned by T-C Holdings. Colliers Bennett & Kahnweiler Inc. SVP Vernon F. Schultz represented Collections Inc., while P. McCourt of CB Richard Ellis represented the building owner.
