Michael W. Walsh of DAUM Commercial Real Estate Services' Camarillo office says principals of the privately held golf equipment company bought the building for $1.2 million from Walsh Channel Islands Gateway Ltd., a partnership of developer Martin Teitelbaum. Walsh represented the seller as well as Golf Sales West president Jeff Aubery, the buyer.
Golf Sales West acquired the building just before construction was due to be completed. The company is expected to move into the new facility within a few weeks.
The new facility, exclusively for distribution, is located at 1710 Ives Ave. The purchase of the building increases its distribution to more than 60,000 sf. The company also occupies 45,000 sf space on Eastman Avenue in Oxnard.
The new Golf Sales West distribution center is a concrete tilt-up structure featuring dock-high and ground-level loading, 1,000 sf of office space and parking for 28 vehicles.
