The 130,570-sf Monroe Plaza is part of a 17-property portfolio thatLakewood, NJ-based Lightstone Group recently acquired from Port Washington, NY-basedAcadia Realty Trust. Two other properties in the portfolio also have vacantAmes stores.
"We look forward to placing new tenants in (Ames locations) in Lewisburg andShamokin, PA," said Harry Harmon, director of leasing and operations forLightstone's Kingston, PA office. Harmon negotiated the Furniture Outletlease. The transaction, he said, represents Lightstone's "commitment to thePennsylvania marketplace as well as our continued investment in the retailmarket."
Lightstone owns and manages 15,000 apartment units as well as office,industrial and retail properties encompassing an aggregate of more than 8.5million sf in 16 states and Puerto Rico.
