Ken Hulbert of DAUM says the location at 26771 McCall Blvd. has visibility from the 215 Freeway. Hulbert and Daniel F. Knudson, both with DAUM's Newport Beach office, represented the property owner, the So Co Group of San Diego. Tom Swieca in the Ontario office of CB Richard Ellis Inc. negotiated for Walgreens.
Swieca said Walgreens plans to construct a 12,863-sf store at the site. Construction is expected to begin soon, with the store scheduled to open this summer.
The Deerfield, IL-based drug store chain recently built and opened a store at the intersection of Murrieta and Newport roads in Sun City. Walgreens, founded in 1901, operates 3,950 stores in 43 states and Puerto Rico.
