Joe Lopez of Westcord's Westlake Village office says buyer RCD Holdings purchased the center from the developer of the property, Double High Financial of Woodland Hills, CA. Lopez represented the sellers, while Darryl Zilberstein, also of Westcord's Westlake Village office, represented the buyers. The center occupies approximately two acres at 401-481 S. Ventura Blvd. Lopez says the new owners plan to make minor renovations to the shopping center, including improvements to the parking areas and repainting the buildings.
Lopez notes that Trolley Plaza is home to one of the Salvation Army's largest retail outlets plus a free-standing McDonald's restaurant. The nine-year-old project, designed in an Early California architectural style, was fully occupied at the time of the sale.
