SVE Corp. has paid $2.5 million for 8.8 acres at 2501 S. Damen Ave., next to the International Produce Market as well as near the Stevenson Expressway. The deal was financed with a $2.77-million loan from Banco Popular, property records show. The acreage includes two industrial buildings totaling 13,500 sf, which will be redeveloped for use by SVE Corp.
