John Bral of Beitler's Irvine office tells GlobeSt.com that the tenant is relocating and expanding with its move across town to the industrial facility. Bral represented Kusha, with Stan Mullin of Grubb & Ellis Co. representing the building owner, the Donald Investment Co. of Newport Beach.
Kusha has already moved into the facility and is occupying the entire building, which is a single-story, freestanding concrete tilt-up facility that was built in the 1970s. Bral tells GlobeSt.com that the building was empty before the recent move-in by Kusha, an import-export company.
According to Bral, Kusha left about 19,000 sf at another location in Irvine, where it had been for about five years. Bral says the lease at the new facility was timed to correspond with the end of Kusha's previous lease, which expired recently.
