The Chicago-based insurance company relocated from 363 N. Sam Houston Parkway East, also in the Greenspoint submarket. Wanda Wilson and Marci Phillips, a team with Houston-based PM Realty Group, were the only brokers working the lease.
Wilson tells GlobeSt.com that the insurance company liked the first-floor location and abundant windows available in 350 North Belt Place, a class B building at 350 N. Sam Houston Parkway E. She says the company also looked at the nearby 340 North Belt Place, but ultimately was wooed by 350 North Belt Place's amenities.
The insurance company's new address is a two-story, 64,108-sf office building owned by Koll Bren Schreiber Realty Advisors. The building, near the George Bush Intercontinental Airport, is 77% leased. The average rent is $17.30 per sf for class B product in an 11-million-sf submarket.
