Franchisee Kenney Trousdale of Cleburne, TX has a number of Whataburger flags flying in and around Fort Worth, primarily in small towns where traffic count and visibility are high, Andy Edwards, associate with NAI Stoneleigh Huff Brous McDowell in Fort Worth, tells GlobeSt.com. Trousdale's newest eatery will be completed in 120 days.
Edwards and NAI Stoneleigh principal Mack House represented Trousdale in the pad site acquisition in the Levels Shopping Center, a grocery-anchored property at the interstate's junction with US Highway 67. Walter Owen of IDI Development Co.'s Fort Worth office represented the seller, Frederick Greybeal, a North Texas investor who teamed with IDI to build the shopping center, according to Edwards. Key to the decision to buy and build is the pad site's positioning in a "niche fast-food market" with a front row seat along the NAFTA Highway, he adds.
