Reckson Associates Realty Corp., the owner of the Reckson Metro Center at 360 Hamilton Ave., says that it has signed a new long-term lease deal for 13,075 sf on the fourth floor with StanCorp Financial Group Inc., which is expanding its insurance operations. The company already leases 21,000 sf on the second floor of the building. Since 2000, the firm has enjoyed a stronger presence on the East Coast through its subsidiary, the Standard Life Insurance Company of New York, Reckson officials add. George Braun of George Braun Associates represented StanCorp in the deal.

In another new lease deal at the 380,625-sf Reckson Metro Center property, Salvatore Campofranco, managing director of Reckson's Westchester Division, says Premier Health Care Services, Inc., a homecare services firm, has signed a lease for 10,507 sf of space. The company is relocating from offices in White Plains. Ken Dardis of Reliance Property Group represented Premier Health Care Services in the transaction.

Also in downtown White Plains, Reckson reports that Luman Helfman & Fayer has decided to renew its existing lease agreement at Reckson's 140 Grand St. office building. The real estate mortgage company's lease at the 130,136-sf office building is for 5,350 sf.

The 360 Hamilton Ave. property has seen a tremendous amount of leasing activity in the past several years after Reckson completed a $50 million project to upgrade the property and reposition it as a multi-tenant building. The building is currently 92% occupied. Currently, there is a 30,000-sf block of space available at Reckson Metro Center on the sixth floor.
