The largest parcel, and potentially most lucrative, is a 7,200-sf lot at 1750-54 N. Clybourn Ave. Current B1-2 zoning would allow for construction of a building of nearly 16,000 sf.
A 2,400-sf lot at 1718 N. Clybourn Ave. also is zoned B1-2, which would allow for a building slightly larger than 5,000 sf.
Meanwhile, the 4,800-sf site at 1719-21 N. Sheffield Ave. could accommodate a multifamily residential building of about 5,500 sf.
The deadline for proposals is April 7. A pre-submittal conference was held Friday.
"The redevelopment of these three vacant sites will bring more housingand retail development to the Lincoln Park area," says department ofplanning and development commissioner Alicia Berg.
