Gray will continue to be part of the company's Hospitality Industry Group which provides advisory, valuation and disposition services to clients on hotels, casinos, resorts and convention centers.
The Florida International University graduate began his career in 1984 as an intern in the Coral Gables, FL office of Laventhol & Horwath, an accounting firm specializing in commercial real estate that is no longer in business. From 1988 to 1991, Gray handled appraisal and consulting assignments for American Realty Consultants in Fort Lauderdale.
He moved to the Fort Lauderdale office of New York-based Landauer Associates Inc. in 1992 where he was co-practice leader of the firm's national Hospitality Valuation Division. From 1996 to 2000, Gray was a principal and partner at Boca Raton, FL-based Atlantic Hospitality Advisors
He holds designations as an Appraisal Institute Certified General Real Estate Appraiser in Florida and Georgia and as a Certified Commercial Investment Member of the Chicago-based Commercial Investment Real Estate Institute.
