Soderstrom has leased 3,400 sf in offices formerly housing Arvida Realty and Coldwell Banker on Red Bug Road in suburban Oviedo, FL, across from the Rouse Cos.' 955,000-sf Oviedo Marketplace. Affluent Oviedo in Seminole County, near the University of Central Florida's 35,000-student campus, is Soderstrom's target market this year.
"We feel that the Oviedo/Tuscawilla area is one of the fastest-growing markets in Central Florida," the developer of high-end townhomes and single-family residences tells GlobeSt.com.
Soderstrom has promoted broker Walter Suika to managing director of the Oviedo showcase center. Suika has been with Soderstrom for the past four years. The center will have $250,000 of high-tech paraphernalia to provide buyers, sellers and marketers with virtual tours of prominent area homes and communities.
Other Stirling showcase centers are at the company's home site in Heathrow, FL; Alaqua, Winter Park Village, Seminole Towne Center Mall, Downtown Orlando and the Dr. Phillips area of south Orlando.
