"Four buildings are already sold. They're going, going, going," Darryl Szarka, a principal with project developer DKS Development LLC tells GlobeSt.com. Two of the two-story buildings, located at the southwest corner of Marilyn and 71st streets, have been sold to Trax Software and Consulting, owned by Larry and Addrienne Miller. A third has been taken by an unnamed investment group and DKS Development will occupy the third.
Szarka said the buildings, which he described as "boutique offices," each consist of a 5,055-sf first floor and 2,688-sf second floor with two separate second-floor patio areas, some with views of nearby Kierland Commons, the Kierland Westin Resort and the nearby Kierland golf course.
Designed by Les Partch of Partch & Associates of Chandler and built by Wespac Construction of Phoenix, the office project is within walking distance of Kierland Common's open-air shopping mall with its many restaurants and amenities and the Westin Resort and Kierland golf course. Szarka said the complex will feature lush landscaping and a contemporary design in keeping with the design themes throughout the Kierland master development. "It will be a really nice upscale office project," he said.
The project is slated to have the first two buildings completed by Sept. 15. The remaining structures will deliver by October.
