Rosey Miller of Studley's West Los Angeles office, who represented Entravision, tells GlobeSt.com that the firm signed for 13 years in a deal valued at $16.5 million.
Entravision owns and/or operates television stations in 20 of the top 50 US markets plus radio stations in 23 US markets. Along with the move to Wilshire Courtyard, Entravision will consolidate operations from about 12,000 sf in the Mid-Wilshire district and 10,000 sf in Century City. The media company will be in the 5700 Wilshire Blvd. building at Wilshire Courtyard, one of two buildings in the one-million-sf, six-story project, which is about 82% occupied.
Entravision has targeted Oct. 1 as its move-in date for the new space, Miller tells GlobeSt.com. He says the firm is on a month-to-month extension in Century City, where its lease has expired, and the Mid-Wilshire lease will expire at the same time Entravision is scheduled to move into Wilshire Courtyard. Entravision will join a tenant roster that includes E! Entertainment, EMI/Capitol Records, Spelling Entertainment Group, Initiative Media and Daily Variety. The building owner, McCarthy Cook & Co., was represented internally by Toliver Morris and Edward Cook.
