The lease follows recent activity at the Butterfield Center for Business & Industry that has included a 184,950-sf deal with Con-Way Transportation and 192,380-sf lease with GE Polymerland.
Houston Wire & Cable Co. plans to move from west suburban Carol Stream, where it already is an Opus North Corp. tenant, in July. Houston Wire & Cable Co. vice president and controller Eric Davis says the new building's location near I-88 and the building's configuration were factors in the company's decision.
