Phoenix Life Insurance Co. will take 4,207 sf at the 4835 E. Cactus Rd. building while Duley-Bowlar Insurance, a local agent for Phoenix Life, has signed for 4,772 sf. Both insurance agencies will share the fourth floor of the 160,000-sf building when they move in June 1.
The agencies, formerly located at the Royal Biltmore at 2929 E. Camelback Rd. in Phoenix, opted to move their locations to the North Phoenix area to be closer to the clients they serve, Jeff Wentworth with Grubb & Ellis Co.'s office group in Phoenix, tells GlobeSt.com. "They wanted that same feel as the Camelback financial corridor," Wentworth explained. "They looked at six buildings and narrowed it down to this one."
Wentworth represented Phoenix Life Insurance Co. in its negotiations while Jerry Jacobs, with Cushman & Wakefield of Arizona Inc. bargained on behalf of Duley-Bowlar Insurance. Building owner, Denali National Trust Inc., used in-house broker Jim Lentine to do its talking.
