TGF Precision Haircutters signed two five-year leases, each 1,500 sf, for Atascocita Center and Kleinwood Center, both under-construction projects that deliver in the fourth quarter in Houston's northwest submarket, Abe Pacetti, Regency Centers' leasing representative in Houston, tells GlobeSt.com. The styling salon is the second tenant to reserve a spot in the under-construction Atascocita Center at the intersection of Will Clayton Parkway and Atascocita Road. Regency owns the 30,000 sf of inline space with Kroger owning the anchor spot, according to Pacetti.

Kleinwood Center is a 152,000-sf project, with a 78,000-sf H-E-B anchor. It is going up at the intersection of Louetta and Stuebner Airline roads. TGF Precision Haircutters is the 10th to pre-lease space in the project, according to Pacetti.

The Kumon Math & Reading Center will open doors in 1,087 sf in a five-year signing for Coles Center at US Highway 290 and Barker Cypress, also in the city's northwest corridor. The 91%-occupied Coles Center is anchored by a 109,000-sf Randall's grocery store, with Regency in charge of 42,000 sf of inline space. The deal marks the first location for the Houston franchisee, who is planning to open the store within 90 days.

Regency also signed Allstate Insurance to a 1,000-sf spot in the 133,000-sf, Kroger-anchored Sweetwater Plaza at the corner of US Highway 59 and Sweetwater Boulevard in Sugar Land. The plan is to open in mid- to late April in a five-year lease that boosts the center's occupancy to 96%. The office is relocating from a center along Texas 6.
