Last fall, Dr. George L. Dempsey leased his building at 20 Professional Dr. to the rehab provider and then started searching for a new location in the Clear Lake area. Admittedly, it took some time, but he landed in a long-term lease in the three-story, 60,656-sf Gemini building, Coy Davidson in the Houston office of Colliers International tells GlobeSt.com.
Dempsey's new address is owned by Koll Bren Schreiber Realty Advisors. Mike Adams of PM Realty Group in Houston crafted the pact for the building owner, with Davidson as the tenant's representative. The 94%-leased building has a quoted rate of $16.50 per sf. Davidson says the doctor chose the building because it had a reputable building owner and is a high-quality, cost-effective property.
