RREEF acquired the property a half-mile west of DuPage County Airport for $3.1 million in September 2000, according to property records. Although NDSC's acquisition price was not available, the data processing and marketing company signed a long-term lease with AIC Ventures.
"The quality of this facility, paired with the active investment market for such properties, provided NDSC a window of opportunity to quickly raise significant capital," says Julien J. Studley senior managing director Geoffrey M. Kasselman in a statement. "By using their proceeds to eliminate other leases, the outcome of this transaction far exceeded NDSC's initial financial objectives."
