Don Epperson, previously Macfarlan's senior vice president of development, has been named director of business development. The new role puts Epperson in charge of directing "the process of turning acquisitions of net leased properties into equity income investments," CEO Dean Macfarlan said in a prepared statement. Epperson will help expand the Macfarlan footprint as an investment management firm in sync with his role as head of the real estate development division. To date, Epperson has managed $550 million in projects in his 22-year career.
HOK Dallas latched onto W. Daniel Jansen, a 25-year professional with a broad-based track record for product designs of all types. Jansen is vice president and director of HOK's architecture and operations. His new role is to manage the 50-employee office in business development through project delivery.
Jansen most recently was a partner in Dallas-based Champion Partners Ltd. He also spent 18 years as vice president of the HKS Inc. architectural firm in Dallas. His project portfolio includes Lincoln Centre in Dallas, Addison Circle Office Tower in Addison, Microsoft's regional headquarters in Las Colinas and Century Telephone Enterprises Inc.'s corporate headquarters in Monroe, LA.
At Dallas-based Wyndham International, Andrew Jordan was promoted to executive vice president of sales and marketing plus chief marketing officer. He replaces David Johnson, who left to become CEO for a new hotel management company.
Jordan joined Wyndham five years ago as senior vice president of marketing. He previously worked for Club Med, Coca-Cola Co. in Atlanta and several New York City public relations firms.
