The industrial building and more than 25,000 sf of land had been encumbered with a $950,000 mortgage, according to property records.
The owners were represented by Roger Ruttenberg and Gwen Callans of Atlas Partners LLC.
A minimum bid of $2.1 million was set before the bankruptcy auction.
In an unrelated deal further south, the Chicago Police Sergeants Association bought a 2,500-sf building at 1616 W. Pershing Ave. for $245,000 to use as its main office and meeting hall. The deal was brokered by Alitzya Jedrzejek of Millennium Properties Inc.
