Brad Umansky, Ruby Simpson and Irene Russell, all in the Ontario office of Sperry Van Ness, handled both sides of the transaction. James Hopper, AMC president, says the multi-tenant office building is 97% occupied and strategically located in a strong San Gabriel Valley market.
The purchase is a continuation of AMC's tenant-in-common acquisition program, which combines capital provided by private investors and sellers of real estate who have completed the sale of their property and are seeking a joint venture ownership. Asset Management Consultants Inc. specializes in purchasing properties in the range of $4 million to $25 million. It's closed more than $140 million in transactions in recent years.
The Pathfinder property contains a 19-year-old, three-story building situated near several other office properties. The seller had owned the asset for more than 10 years.
