WDI Industries, a maker of porcelain and plastic fixtures, has acquired an 8,025-sf industrial building at 3 Musick in the Fairbanks Business Park development of the Irvine Spectrum for approximately $1 million from a private investor based in Pacific Palisades, according to Lee & Associates.

WDI expects to move into the building April 15, according to Allen Basso of the Irvine office of Lee, who represented the buyer. Tom Rommel, also of the Irvine office of Lee, represented the seller.

WDI will be moving from elsewhere in Irvine, where it was in 1,000 sf of leased space. The 3 Musick building, which was empty at the time of the sale, is part of the 20-building Fairbanks development. The seller had owned the 3 Musick property since 1991.

In San Clemente, a private family trust based in Arcadia has purchased a 7,127-sf industrial building at 1241 Puerta Del Sol in the Burke Corporate Center from the center's developer, HG Burke Talega LLC, as a leased investment.

Guy LaFerrara, Jay Mast, Dean Krieger and Kurt Bruggerman of the Irvine office of Lee & Associates represented the seller. LaFerrera and Mike Baker, also of the Lee office in Irvine, represented the buyer, who paid approximately $1 million for the property in a 1031 Exchange.

The 1241 Puerta Del Sol building, constructed last year, is a single-story, concrete tilt-up construction, with 2,135 sf of mezzanine office space. It is leased on a long-term basis by California Software Inc.
