Also, his company is building 230 condominiums on 30 acres of the former Packard Proving Grounds in Shelby Township. Lombardo purchased the property from Grand Sakwa Properties.Other Lombardo developments include the Cascades in Shelby Township, about 196 two-story condominium units available this fall, and Autumn Creek, consisting of 152 units at slightly higher prices.
Lombardo said he prefers to build in north Macomb, especially considering the popularity of the area due to the migration from the suburbs closer to Detroit."We're local builders, we know this area well," Lombardo said.
