"Edscha had a variety of options in the market to achieve its objectives," said James Ketai, principal of Centerpoint developer Etkin Equities, of Southfield. "It's choice of Centerpoint reaffirms the appeal of the campus's prominent location, amenities and easy access to services, employees and customers."
Edscha is a global developer of automotive hinges, convertible and sliding roof systems, driver controls and vehicle design. Its new Centerpoint facility is designed to accommodate a possible future expansion of 10,000 sf.
Centerpoint is home to more than 2.5 million square feet of mixed-use development, including industrial, research and development, restaurants and service operations. The campus is also home to three hotels, more than a dozen restaurants, and a day care facility.
