Now known as Lakeside Park, the property is to be used for town recreation, a new town hall and parklands, according to officials with the brokerage firm.

Robert P. Morini and Lisa Liffland of Houlihan/Lawrence represented the YMCA of Greater New York in the sale.

For more than 50 years, the property was owned and operated by the YMCA of Greater New York as a conference center, children's camp and for other YMCA programs. The property also features the 36-acre Green Mountain Lake for swimming and boating use. Other recreational facilities located on the property are: tennis courts, a softball field, a roller hockey rink, a soccer field; several picnic pavilions, hiking trails and a boathouse with showers and public restrooms.

The property also features conference and hotel facilities including: a 13,000-sf conference center; 14,000-sf inn; a barn complex, lodge and chapel.
