The city of Denver paid $4.7 million to reserve 200 of the spaces on the top of the garage.The majority of the remaining 250 spaces are expected to serve the adjacent Whole Foods Market and Sears.
Cherry Creek North formerly had free parking, but it will now cost $2 per hour to park in the garage.
Shoppers at Whole Foods can receive 90 minutes of free parking in the garage. And in addition, after you have completed your shopping, you can leave your groceries at the store, and then drive your car to the front entrance, where Whole Foods employees will load your groceries for you.
