The Insignia/ESG team of Rick Buckley, Todd R. Doney, Hunt Barnett, Chris Houge and Nico Vilgiate represented Deluxe, with Craig Peters and Doug Sonderegger of CB Richard Ellis Inc. representing the building owner, Connecticut General Life Insurance Co. of Bloomfield, CT.

Deluxe supplies a broad range of media services, including the processing of more than four billion feet of film each year for a worldwide customer base that includes some of the largest Hollywood studios. Its customers range from independent filmmakers, television and commercial filmmakers to companies such as Columbia, Tri-Star, Warner Bros., MGM, DreamWorks, Twentieth Century Fox, Disney and Paramount.

Deluxe Media will be consolidating multiple locations throughout Greater Los Angeles into one new state-of-the-art, 30 foot-minimum, clear-height building, according to Buckley. He says the work force available in and around Valencia and the master-planned business park were key points in Deluxe's relocation decision. The move was prompted in part by Deluxe's acquisition of numerous fulfillment services companies and will enable the company to provide a host of services in one place.

Hewson Commerce Center was developed by Hewson Development on behalf of Connecticut General. It is part of Valencia Gateway, a business center of more than 4,600 acres, 22 million sf and 1,200 companies. The entertainment industry is one of the primary tenants in Valencia, representing 1.5 million sf of users.
