Laminate Technologies Corp., a subsidiary of Dynamic Details Inc., will pay $409,000 to building owner, the San Diego-based Shidler Group, over the lease term to remain in the single-story building at 1130 W. Geneva Dr.
"They are a big believer that the semiconductor business is going to come back in the next year and they did not want to lose their capacity," Brigham Black, Shidler's director of leasing and sales, tells GlobeSt.com.
Black said the firm, which has occupied that same space since 1983, also opted to stay at its existing address near Geneva and Hardy because much of the firm's infrastructure is already in place. Black represented Shidler in the lease negotiations. The tenant was self-represented.
