Payroll Firm Pays $1.4M for New Address

Chris Deason of Voit Commercial Brokerage's Irvine office represented the buyer, with Tim Walker, also of Voit's Irvine office, representing the seller. Staff Pay has vacated 6,800 sf of leased space in Santa Ana. The freestanding, two-story building is a concrete tilt-up design, with about 4,000 sf of mezzanine office space.

Staff Pay is part of a growing industry of co-employment firms, also known as professional employer organizations, which perform employee administrative functions such as payroll processing, income tax withholding, workers compensation and benefits administration and related services for small and medium-size companies in order to free those firms from having to maintain their own staffs to perform such functions.
